River Cruise

Kuala Kurau is a working town of rice farmers and fishermen, and a good many of their houses stand right on the bank of the Kurau River. The best way to see them is from the water.

The trip

The cruise runs about 45 minutes along the Kurau River. Every passenger gets a life jacket, and the boat stops at one of the fish cages along the way so you can feed the fish. The water is calm, so it suits people who have never been on a boat and worry about seasickness.

Booking and fares

Register at reception on the day you check in.

• RM18.00 per person, depending on how many passengers join.

• If fewer than 10 people sign up, the trip may be postponed.

• You can also charter the whole boat for RM120 per trip and split it between your group.
